MacQueen Ancient Heavyweight Tartan is a dark orange-based tartan with black checks.

Of West Highland origin, the MacQueen’s appear to have associated themselves with the Clan Donald. Several Hebridean MacQueen’s settled in Strathearn and became septs of Clan Chattan. They possessed Corry burgh in the 16th century and appear to have been quite strong at this time. Robert McQueen, the well-known lawyer, who became Lord Braxfield, belonged to a Lanarkshire family of MacQueen’s.
